Glendalough is located in the Wicklow Mountains and is one of the most visited tourist sites in Ireland and is just 8 miles from Rathdrum. It is known for its breathtaking scenery and wildlife, along with an abundance of history and archaeology such as the Monastic Site with Round Tower. There are plenty of walks and trails and is a great day out for the whole family.
Powerscourt House and Gardens
Powerscourt House and Gardens are situated near Enniskerry in the Wicklow Mountains. It is a huge country estate and is renowned for its famous house and landscaped gardens. The house is a three-storey building and has 68 rooms and is open to the public to view.
